I recently attended a concert headlined by Aerosmith with ZZ Top opening the show at the Cricket Wireless Center in Phoenix, AZ. Since the center was outside in Arizona weather, it was really hot, but luckily for me the guy next to me had a spray bottle of water that he would accidentally spray on me. Not too soon that I arrived at my seat, I noticed on stage that there were these two guys playing "Rag Doll" on Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

Soon thereafter, ZZ top took stage and began to play many of their great songs and even covered Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze". They just blew me away with their sound and their interactions with the crowd. Billy Gibbon's humor and jokes were just the beginning of a good time I had at the concert.

Their setlist consisted of:

* 1. "Got Me Under Pressure"
* 2. "Waitin' for the Bus"
* 3. "Jesus Just Left Chicago"
* 4. "Pincushion"
* 5. "Cheap Sunglasses"
* 6. "I Need You Tonight"
* 7. "Heard It on the X"
* 8. "Just Got Paid"
* 9. "Gimme All Your Lovin'"
* 10. "Sharp Dressed Man"
* 11. "Legs"
* 12. "La Grange"
* 13. "Tush"
* 14. "Purple Haze"

Soon after ZZ Top left stage, there was an intermission break as they set the stage up for Aerosmith and covered the stage with a huge black cloth with the band's red signature logo. After about a half an hour of setting the stage up, the lights began changing colors as did the logo as on the cloth with the corresponding lights. Joey Kramer's opening drum beat began to play for the song "Rag Doll" and the cloth was then stripped down revealing the band known as Aerosmith. With Joe Perry's and Brad Whitford's guitar riff's, Joey Kramer's drum beats, Tom Hamilton's bass lines, and Steven Tyler's voice and onstage persona, it easily had to be the best concert I had ever attended. Two screen panels came down from above when the band played "Dream On" displaying clouds and burning fires throughout the song. Tom Hamilton's beginning bassline of "Sweet Emotion" was just nothing short of amazing and with the follow up of Joe Perry's talk box was just really fascinating.

Their stage list consisted of the following songs.
"Rag Doll"
"Livin' on the Edge"
"Crazy"
"Dream On"
"Cryin'"
"Last Child"
"Monkey on my Back"
"Come Together"
"Jaded"
"Round and Round"
"Sweet Emotion"
"Walk This Way"

Even though the concert itself was amazing, the people who attended just made me laugh. For example, as I switch seats toward the end of the row, in front of me was this old couple around the age of 60 taking pictures of the stage. As they tried to capture a video of Aerosmith playing "Sweet Emotion", the default video was a porno of a naked chick and instead of opting to record the performance, he and his elderly wife began to watch the porno on the film and began to feel each other up. As they were doing that, right next to them were these fat ugly sluts grinding up against each other as Steven Tyler sang the lyrics. Luckily for me, we left as they were playing "Walk this Way" and avoided traffic. Hopefully in August, I'm going to go see Def Leppard, Poison, and Cheap Trick all in one concert and in October, I may see ACDC. So there goes my time of this concert, so if anyone actually read all of this, you are highly appreciated.

Sounds like it was a great time! The 60 y/o couple had me laughing pretty good!
