Interesting choices considering you age! (I’m an old man) Beatles hands
down! Stones were just in the right place at the right time!

If you were to ask my opinion (as you did) Stones are a bunch of no
talent hacks that had a couple of good tunes. I've heard and seen more
musical talent in garage bands 10 times over. Anyone who has ever
played a musical instrument knows the stones got lucky compared to the
Beatles!

Aaaaaa well that's just my opinion of course. But I have played guitar for
over 30 years and just wish I had a tenth of the talent John and Paul had
or has!

I even took the time, “drunk” to listen to itunes collection of the Stones
shit to see if I’d forgotten about something and NOPE! Only 3 songs get a
pass by me (Mother’s little helper, Can’t you hear me knocking and
Angie) the rest is pure CRAP! Compared to the 100’s of Beatles tunes that
stand the test of time. Just my opinion of course.

Thanks for getting involved in our forums though! Hope I didn’t hurt your
feelings if you are Stones fans out there! Too each his own I always say!

Beattles hands down, without the beatles paving the way, British bands would not of had the type of commercial success that they in turn had. The Beattles, are legends, The stones, just a band with an ugly lead singer, and skeleton style guitarist, and a few descent songs.

I'd say the Stones. They're classic, their music is great, I enjoy many of their songs. People listening and singing to Yellow Submarine frequently pissed me off and really made me hate them. The only song I really like of theirs is Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
